Fresh Encounter

From time to time, most people become aware of their need for a deep touch from God.  If individuals need it, then churches certainly need it too.

God's renewed presence and power in our lives is absolutely essential if we are to be "salt and light" to the world around us.  But while we long for a renewed experience of the living God, many of us don't really know how to position ourselves for that fresh encounter.

Beginning Sunday September 19, I'll be leading a seven week experience that's designed exactly for that purpose. To participate in Fresh Encounter, each person must be willing to spend about 30 minutes each day in personal study, prayer, and reflection.  Then once a week, persons will gather for a large group meeting for further discussion and reflection.

I'll be leading two sections during the seven week experience - one on Sunday night (beginning September 19) and one on Wednesday night (beginning September 22).  Each section is limited to 12 participants.  The cost per person is $20 for the Fresh Encounter materials.

If life's hectic pace as altered your walk with Christ, if the "stuff" of life has stolen your joy, if your spirit longs for a fresh touch from God, then I encourage you to sign up for Fresh Encounter this Sunday.  As always,

God's best to you!
